Ohmygod! I'm getting a Flybar 800 and 1200. SBI Enterprises – the company first to develop the pogo stick in 1918 – a couple of years ago created the Flybar 1200 that can bounce up to 6 feet, and now it has developed the more-friendly women's Flybar 800 that can hit about 4 feet.

The adrenaline-fueled Whistler Mountain Bike Park opens May 19. Thanks to 46 feet of snow this season and a current base of 122 inches of snow, besides biking, mountain warriors can still board and ski the snow-covered runs of Blackcomb Mountain until June 3.

Those formerly spurned by the high price of the sport, with costs now topping nearly $1,000 per day at most operations throughout North America, now have opportunities with Valdez Heli-Camps.

The first big dump of the season came this weekend unloading fresh powder atop a decent base. It was time. With my ski crew, we decided to head out to Togwotee Pass, about a 65-mile drive from Jackson. This area is known for it’s lighter, almost Colorado-esque powder. Slednecks know it well; it’s one of the most popular sledding destinations in the country.
